1936, when we opened our doors as Weyerhaeuser Timber Co. Longview Pulp Division Employees Federal Credit Union, starting with 14 founding members. Our goal was then as it still is now: to provide members a financial space to accumulate their savings, and serve as a source of loans so they could finance their dreams.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2001, we transitioned our name to Mint Valley Federal Credit Union to better reflect the community and members we continue to serve. In 2004, we became a community charter, granting credit union membership to anyone who lives, worships, works in, or attends school in Cowlitz County.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While our history has evolved since we first began, our mission hasn\u2019t. We remain committed to our members through every part of their journey, whether that\u2019s saving for a vehicle, purchasing a home, planning for retirement, or recovering from past financial hardships.
