Quiénes somos
Mint Valley Federal Credit Union ha pasado por muchos cambios a lo largo de los años, pero una cosa ha permanecido igual: nuestro compromiso con nuestros socios.
Our story began on Nov. 16, 1936, when we opened our doors as Weyerhaeuser Timber Co. Longview Pulp Division Employees Federal Credit Union, starting with 14 founding members. Our goal was then as it still is now: to provide members a financial space to accumulate their savings, and serve as a source of loans so they could finance their dreams.
In 2001, we transitioned our name to Mint Valley Federal Credit Union to better reflect the community and members we continue to serve. In 2004, we became a community charter, granting credit union membership to anyone who lives, worships, works in, or attends school in Cowlitz County.
While our history has evolved since we first began, our mission hasn’t. We remain committed to our members through every part of their journey, whether that’s saving for a vehicle, purchasing a home, planning for retirement, or recovering from past financial hardships. Our members are part of our family.
